What is the composition of Armstrong ceilings? At least 24% and often even 95% of the materials used to manufacture mineral fibre ceilings are recycled. Starch, perlite (a type of natural glass), and clay are other naturally occurring and renewable components found in them. Wood fibre leftovers are used to create sturdy plank ceilings.
