One of the most unique methods of conducting international company is the turnkey project. An agreement to fully design, build, and equip a manufacturing unit, business, or service facility is known as a "turnkey project," and the contractor or firm commits to turn the project over to the customer for payment once it is ready for operation.

A project is referred to as a "turn-key project" when the supplier or provider is accountable to the customer for the project's final product and delivers it to the client fully finished and prepared for usage.

In actuality, the customer should be able to "simply turn the key." A turnkey project's supplier is referred to as the general contractor, primary supplier, or main contractor. Turnkey projects are sometimes referred to as turnkey solutions, turnkey deliveries, or ready-to-use.
